1. Fifth Avenue, New York City (NY), United States

Known to be an unrivaled shopping street on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, between the 49th and 60th streets are a hub of flagship stores and luxury designer boutiques.

2. Bond Street, London, England

Synonymous with elegance, Bond Street has been the high street of luxury shopping since the 18th century. Located in the heart of London in the West End district, it is now a combination of Old Bond Street and New Bond Street.

3. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills (CA), United States

Small in size (just three blocks), Rodeo Drive on Beverly Hills is big on glamour. No, there are no cowboys here — just glitzy shops, designer boutiques and exclusive jewellery stores where Hollywood celebrities shop and splurge.

Elegant, exclusive and expensive are the three ‘e’s that define Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich. Located in the city centre just off Paradeplatz, the avenue is lined with all the designer stores like Armani, Cartier, Chanel, Hermes, Prada, Louis Vuitton and much more.

Avenue Montaigne, located in the "golden triangle" between the Champs Elysées and the Seine River, is the fanciest avenue in Paris. An extremely fashionable street, the awnings quietly state the name of every high-end fashion designer.

Milan spells style with a capital ’S’ and so it’s no surprise that Via Montenapoleone houses the best designers and has all the high priestesses of fashion from Hollywood to European royalty shopping at their elegant and exclusive stores.

The streets spell style and elegance with big-ticket names like Gucci, Hermes, and Cartier leading the pack. It scores very high on being a well-kept and clean street with friendly customer service offered by salespersons in most of the stores.

9. Stroget, Copenhagen, Denmark

Located in the centre of Copenhagen and is the longest pedestrian shopping area in Europe. The Avenue is lined with all the designer stores along the six streets that compose Stroget, and the area has become one of the best tourist’s attractions in the city. 

10. Bagdat Avenue, Istanbul, Turkey

Besides housing designer stores and smaller boutiques, Bagdat Avenue is also considered to be the largest open-air shopping mall with most of the shops being open every day of the week, including Sundays.
